Mark your calendar! The La Plata County Republican Party gathers every first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall – 1550 Main Ave, Durango.

This meeting, we’re pleased to welcome two distinguished guests:

Betsy Blaire – District Director for Congressman Jeff Hurd, CD3
Betsy will share updates from Congressman Hurd’s office, including legislative developments in Washington and issues affecting education in our district.

Sherri Wright – State Board of Education Representative for CD3
Sherri will provide insight into the work of the Colorado State Board of Education, upcoming legislation, and key votes that could impact school policy across the state. She’ll also explain the role and responsibilities of your State Board representative.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from leaders representing us at both the federal and state levels. Bring your questions and stay informed on the issues that matter most to our community.
